In 1941, the A-26 Invader was beginning to come together as a twin-engine medium-bomber manufactured by the Douglas Aircraft Company. It was the only U.S. bomber that served in three wars including: WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. By the end of production, there were 2,452 aircraft ready to go in every variant available. After making its first European appearance in late 1944, confusion of the name came from the retirement of the Martin B-26 Marauder and when the USAF dropped the "A" in 1948.

This 1/72 scale, die cast model is a Hobby Master replica of a B-26K Invader 64-17660, 609 SOS from Nakhon Phanom in 1969, that features authentic markings and paint scheme, engraved panel lines, a rotating propeller, a well-equipped cockpit, and a display stand. Measures 8½" long with a 11¾" wingspan.
