Own a piece of world history! This scarce coin was issued by the Viet Minh under Ho Chi Minh in 1946, and withdrawn by 1948. It features a portrait of Ho Chi Minh on the obverse and the denomination next to a rice stalk on the reverse. Because the coins were struck under primitive conditions using aluminum scrap metal and makeshift equipment, they tend to be crudely struck with weak areas in the design and in varying states of jungle rot condition.
