The A-6 Intruder had the ability to take on bombing missions like no other aircraft during the Vietnam War because of its sophisticated avionic suites and its capability to fly well at slower speeds. It began service in February of 1963 as a two-seat all-weather attack fighter that could reach speeds of 684 mph and had the capacity to handle up to 18,000 pounds of weapons! This 1/140 scale, die cast model of the Intruder features realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, and surface details as well as pad-printed markings and placards that won't fade or peel.
