B-29 Superfortress 1/144 Die Cast Model
The B-29 Superfortress, an American-built heavy bomber introduced in 1943, was a popular Allied weapon most recognizable as the aircraft that dropped the atomic bombs over Japan in August of 1945. Though originally designed for high-altitude drops, the B-29 also served as a low-altitude night bomber. Nearly 4,000 units were manufactured and it was not officially retired from U.S. service until 1960.

Stationed in Japan with the USAF 19th BG during the Korean War, the "Raz'n Hell" B-29 Superfortress flew more than 50 combat missions. This 1/144 scale, Air Force 1 Model Company, die cast model of the recognizable bomber-including authentic, colorful nose art-features engraved panel lines and access panels, a simulated cockpit, rotating propellers, optional-position landing gear, authentic USAAF markings and paint scheme, and a stylish presentation stand. Measures approximately 8¼" long with an 11¾" wingspan.
