From the BMC Toys Classic Army Men Collector Series, more favorites from the golden age of Playsets ride again. This 16 piece set of American Civil War Cavalry includes 7 mounted Cavalrymen, 2 seated wagon drivers and 7 horses. Cavalrymen include a falling rider and 2 each sword raised with wide-brim hats, sword raised with kepi hats, kepi hat with whip, and wagon drivers. Horses include one falling and 6 horses that are the same pose standing 2.68 inches tall x 4.2 inches long (including tail) x .5 inch wide (at saddle). Figures are up to 2.1 inches tall and made made from slightly soft LDPE plastic and the horses from slightly stiff Polypropylene plastic. The horses have solid bodies and are not hollow underneath. The riders fit loosely on the horses.

These horses were first offered in 1958 by Louis Marx and Co. in the legendary Fort Apache Playset and went on to be included in a number of their legendary Playsets spanning many years including many western and American Civil War theme Sets. This new production is manufactured using the original plastic injection tools.
