The F-105F Thunderchief "Peach 91" was a two-seat, supersonic fighter-bomber flown by the 128th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the Georgia Air National Guard, based at Dobbins Air Force Base. As a variant of the F-105, the F model was primarily used for Wild Weasel missions—suppressing enemy air defenses—thanks to its additional electronic warfare systems and second crew member. "Peach 91" reflected Georgia's nickname, symbolizing its home unit. Equipped with radar-homing missiles and a 20mm cannon, it combined speed, range, and firepower. The aircraft played a crucial training and operational support role during the Cold War before its eventual retirement.
