The F-15E Strike Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather multirole fighter developed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) for the United States Air Force. Derived from the F-15 air superiority fighter, the Strike Eagle was designed for long-range, high-speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic warfare aircraft. It features a two-seat cockpit, advanced avionics, and a digital fly-by-wire system, enabling precision strikes and deep-penetration missions. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 engines, it can reach speeds over Mach 2.5 and carry a wide array of weaponry, including JDAMs, laser-guided bombs, and AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles. Its AN/APG-70 radar and targeting systems allow for day/night and all-weather operations. The F-15E has proven itself in numerous conflicts, from the Gulf War to operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Renowned for its durability, speed, and payload, the Strike Eagle remains a critical asset for U.S. air power and continues to evolve with modernization programs.
