About the F-35C Lightning II

The F-35C is the carrier-optimized version of the F-35 Lightning II, built with larger wings, strengthened landing gear, and a tailhook for catapult launches and arrested landings aboard U.S. Navy carriers. Like the other F-35 variants, it is powered by the Pratt & Whitney F135 engine and combines stealth shaping with advanced sensors and avionics for both air-to-air and strike missions.
