Bessieres was a notable Marshal of the Empire during the Napoleonic era. A personal friend of the Emperor, he campaigned with him in Italy and Egypt before becoming a senior cavalry commander of Napoleon's own Guard Cavalry. This 1/30 scale metal figure features Bessieres wearing the distinctive green uniform of his original unit 'Guides of the Army of Italy' with his hair long and powdered. Measures approximately 4" tall.
