It measures 12.8 x 3.9 x 3.25 inches tall and is 1:32nd scale. The Higgins Boat was designated as LCVP, which stands for Landing Craft Vehicle, Personnel. General Dwight D. Eisenhower declared the Higgins boat to have been crucial to the Allied victory. More than 20,000 were built during the war, and they were used in many of the amphibious landings that were crucial to winning the war in Europe and the Pacific.

Wish I had this as a kid

How many army man invasions did I conduct as a kid using a shoe box with one end cut as a ramp. No more! This is a nice sized model for the price and has good detail for a toy.
