The Chengdu J-10 is a multirole fighter aircraft developed by China's Chengdu Aerospace Corporation for the People's Liberation Army Air Force. Introduced in the early 2000s, the J-10 was designed to provide modern air superiority and precision strike capabilities. It features a delta wing with canard foreplanes, giving it excellent maneuverability and aerodynamic performance. Powered by a single turbofan engine, later variants use the domestically produced WS-10, enabling speeds around Mach 2.
