About King and Country

King & Country is a Hong Kong company that manufactures toy soldiers and other miniatures, founded in 1984 by expatriate Scots Andy Neilson and Laura McAllister. Neilson, a former Royal Marine Commando, grew up collecting toy soldiers and opened a toy shop in Hong Kong in 1986.

The metal miniatures are manufactured in China and hand-painted by artists in Hong Kong and on the mainland.

What Makes King and Country Collectible

King and Country sculpts and paints figures to display-level standard in a large 1:30 scale, with coherent battle sets that let collectors build complete scenes. Historic subjects range from the Texas Revolution to WWII.
