Designed as a long-range, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft, the U-2 took its first flight on August 4, 1955. Featuring markings for the USAF 9th RW, this 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model of the U-2S includes a well-equipped cockpit, realistic panel lines, access panels and surface details, landing gear, ordnance loads, a detailed underside, and a display stand.
