Own a piece of military history! The Series 681 Military Payment Certificates were issued to overseas troops between August 1969 and October 1970. Twenty dollars could buy quite a haul in Vietnam in 1970. The Series 681 was very popular with the men and women who served in Vietnam because the artwork on the MPCs actually displayed military themes, unlike previous issues. The obverse shows a stern-faced soldier in a helmet, and the reverse displays a B-52G bomber in flight. Approx. 6"x 2½".
