1st Film; "Army C-7a Caribou Operations". A rare film on how the twin engine cargo plane was used in Vietnam. Approximately 23 minutes of runtime.
br>2nd Film; "Fairchild C-123 Provider". The C-123 was Originally designed as a heavy glider in 1950 (aka the XC-20). After WWII, because of the development of the helicopter. the U.S. military considered gliders obsolete so, Fairchild added 2 piston engines to the XC-20 and the C-123 was born. This film includes starts on the XC-20 glider and progresses to it's use as a cargo plane in the Vietnam War. It was also used to test aluminum metal mat runways. Approximately 20 minutes of runtime.
3rd Film; "C-130 Hercules". One of the most widely used aircraft in U.S. military history. Developed in the 1950's, the C-130 was heavily used as a troop carrier and cargo plane in the Vietnam and is still being used today. Also, included is a segment on the AC-130 as a gunship. Approximately 15 minutes of run time.
4th Film; "C-141 Starlifter". Built to replace the slower prop driven C-124 Globemaster II and C-133 Cargomaster, the jet powered C-141 Starlifter was used extensively throughout the Vietnam War and was still being used during Operation Desert Storm. This film focuses on the use during the Vietnam War. Runtime is approximately 20 minutes.
5th Film; "AC-47 Spooky" The C-47 Skytrain was played a vital role during WWII but was getting old and becoming less useful during the Vietnam War. So, it was used for dropping propaganda leaflets over Vietnam. However with the addition of guns, the C-47 became the AC-47, an amazing gunship called "Spooky". Approximately 20 minutes of runtime
