Born on June 18, 1923 in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, Guy Whidden — one of the last living WWII survivors — belonged to the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper and machine gunner. Not only did he take part in the Normandy landings, Whidden was in Holland for Operation Market Garden where he sustained critical injuries and lost three best friends to the same mortar attack. After recovery, Whidden was sent back to Fort Benning to begin his new life teaching at jump school.

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to own a real American war hero and one of the last surviving WWII veterans! This 1/6 scale figure of Guy Whidden, as he appeared with the 101st Airborne Division, comes equipped with plenty of military gear, including an M-1C paratrooper helmet and net cover, a gas mask and filter, M-1944 dust goggles, 3 sets of interchangeable hands, Corcoran jump boots, an M-1918 combat knife and sheath, an M-2 folding knife and grenade, a T-5 parachute main pack, as well as a figure stand with photo-etched nameplate, and so much more! 12" long.
