After the Czar was overthrown by Lenin's Bolsheviks in 1917 (and Russia was subsequently removed from the Great War battlefields), America sent troops east to help protect war materiel from falling into Communist hands. This 200 ruble note, made by the American Banknote Company, was distributed in Siberia during the brief campaign there by U.S. forces.
