Despite manufacturing in a nation on the brink of a global war, the American automotive industry during the early 1940s kept innovating and building bigger, faster, and more comfortable cars. Cadillac Motors, one of the industry leaders in luxurious and reliable vehicles, began producing the Series 62 in 1940, and continued it through 1964.
Representing the classy 1947 model year sedan convertible, this 1/32 scale, die cast model features a well-equipped interior with real-working steering wheel and detailed dashboard, an opening hood revealing a multi-colored engine, opening doors and trunk, realistically treaded tires, plenty of simulated chrome, and a removable display base.
