The first and only consumer test ever conducted of gas turbine-powered cars, the Chrysler Turbine was made from 1962-1964. Only 55 were ever manufactured and all but nine of them were destroyed, the remaining models ending up in museums and private collections.

Orange inside and out, this 1/18 scale, die cast model — a replica of the '63 Turbine — features a finely cast body, glazed headlights mounted in chrome nacelles, an opening hood, opening doors, a well-equipped interior, real-working steering, an opening trunk with a spare tire, signature horizontal taillights and nozzles mounted on the heavy chrome bumper, a realistic undercarriage, and free-rolling whitewall tires. Measures approximately 10½" long.
