Issued in 1968, this unique 12-sided coin — part of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) program — was the highest denomination released into circulation by South Vietnam, before falling to communism in 1975. The nickel-clad steel currency depicts a female farmer in a rice paddy and translates as "world campaign against hunger."
