About the Boss 429
Ford enlisted Kar Kraft to fit its 429 cubic-inch V8 into the Mustang engine bay, creating the Boss 429. Only 499 examples of the 1970 model year were built, making it one of the rarest and most collectible Mustangs ever produced.
