About the B-36 Peacemaker
The B-36's combination of a massive fuselage and, in later variants, ten engines (six piston, four jet) made it a distinctive symbol of U.S. strategic air power at the dawn of the Cold War, and it remains a favorite among aviation enthusiasts today.
