Known as the mainstay of the Luftwaffe's force during WWII, and the most produced fighter in history, the Bf 109 was flown by German ace Adolf Galland in the campaign against France and Battle of Britain. Together, they took down 58 enemy aircraft before being named the youngest general in the German military.
