EA-6B Prowler, VAQ-132 Scorpions, U.S. Navy, 2005 1/72 Die Cast Model
VAQ-132, known as the Scorpions, was a U.S. Navy electronic warfare squadron established in 1969. Operating primarily with the EA-6B Prowler and later the EA-18G Growler, the squadron's mission was to conduct airborne electronic attack (AEA) operations, providing jamming and electronic countermeasures to protect Navy assets and disrupt enemy radar and communications systems. The Scorpions supported numerous conflicts, including Operation Desert Storm and the Global War on Terror.
