About the F-16 Fighting Falcon

Developed by General Dynamics and introduced in the late 1970s, the single-engine F-16 is prized for its agility and fly-by-wire flight controls, capable of exceeding Mach 2. The 18th Aggressor Squadron at Eielson Air Force Base flies specially painted F-16Cs to replicate adversary camouflage and tactics for U.S. and allied training exercises.
