About the F-35I Adir

The F-35I "Adir" is Israel's localized version of the Lockheed Martin F-35A, incorporating Israeli-specific electronic-warfare and mission systems. It entered Israeli Air Force service in December 2016 and today flies with the 116th and 140th Squadrons at Nevatim Airbase, part of the broader F-35 program supplying fifth-generation stealth fighters to the U.S. and allied air forces.
