Created during the 1950s, the F-89 Scorpion one of the first U.S Air Force jet fighters equipped with guided missiles and air-to-air nuclear weapons. The F-89D was the main production version which removed the six 20mm cannons and replaced them with 104 rockets in wing pods. Made of mahogany, this 1/48 scale replica features handcrafted detail and a wooden display stand. 15½" wingspan.
