Serving as a complement to the true dogfighters of the era (including the F8 Crusader), the F3 Demon was active with the U.S. Navy from the 1950s through 1964 (when it was all but replaced in Vietnam service by the F-4 Phantom II).
This 1/72 scale plastic kit, a replica of an F3H-2N/M, features three plastic sprues, a photo-etched steel fret, a see-through canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, wing-mounted ordnance, and authentic markings for two different 1950s warplanes (VF-61 "Jolly Rogers" or VF-82 "Iron Men.")
