Large U-Boats built beginning in 1937, the Type IX series briefly patrolled the U.S. east coast in an attempt to terrorize supply ships bound for Britain. Measuring an incredible 42" long, this 1/72 scale plastic kit of a Type IX C sub features a realistically riveted and welded hull, optional-position torpedo flaps, detailed tower side walls (with compass and tower hatch), antennas and insulators (with yarn), anti-aircraft cannons, and a pair of historic markings (for U-67 or U-154).
