The P-38H was one of the key American aircraft during World War II famous for its unusual design including its double fuselage. Powered by twin Allison V-1710-111 engines with 1425 hp each it had an impressive power of 2850 hp. As one of the fastest fighters of World War II (671 km/h) the P-38H was also distinguished by its great maneuverability speed and versatility which made it irreplaceable on many fronts - both in Europe and the Pacific. Equipped with 4 x 20mm cannons and 2 x .50 machine guns as well as the ability to carry additional weapons it was a powerful weapon in the hands of Allied pilots. The new set enriched with additional elements and a new color allows for an even better representation of the characteristic silhouette of this legendary machine.
