Standard issue for the United States military for over forty years, the M1 combat helmet was first used by soldiers during World War II. Though replaced in 1985 by the PASGT helmet, it remains among the most famous military headgear of all time. Fine except the liner had an irreparable crack near the front. Very disappointed. Never again will I buy from Historic Aviation.
