About the Valentine tank
The Valentine was a British infantry tank built by Vickers-Armstrongs, entering service in 1940 and going on to be produced in greater numbers than any other British tank of the war. This model depicts a Valentine Mk.II of the 8th Royal Tank Regiment during the North African campaign in Libya in November 1941.
