Operating as a bomber, fighter, and escort aircraft, the multi-role P-51 Mustang helped the Allies achieve air superiority over the Luftwaffe in the final years of World War II — it was, in fact, the second most successful Allied fighter of the war with 4,950 enemy aircraft shot down, behind only the F6F Hellcat.

This 1/72 scale, die cast model is a replica of a Mustang Mk.IV flying with the No. 3 Squadron of the RAAF in Europe in 1945 featuring engraved panel lines, a rotating propeller, a glazed segmented canopy, a well-equipped cockpit, authentic markings, and a mid-flight presentation stand with information on the aircraft. Measures approximately 5¼" long with a 6¼" wingspan.
