PHOTO JOE'S: RECON MISSIONS AND SPYPLANES - DVD
nd Film; P-38 and Recon Missions. This film is about the P-38s and how vital they were for recon in the Pacific. Because of their speed and twin engines flying long distances over water, these "RECO" pilots flew many dangerous missions. Runtime 13:15 minutes
rd Film; The Recon Birddog. In World War II, the US Army used the small single engine Piper Cub L-4 and the Stinson L-5 as recon planes to photograph the enemy's movement for planning allied tactics. Sometimes called "The Grasshoppers", they were very effective. Runtime 8:19 minutes.
th Film; USAF Jet Spyplanes. The beginning of the Jet Age, USAF uses the B-57 Canberra, F-84, P-80 and the B-47 for recon photo missions around the world. Runtime 14:46 minutes

th Film; The USN R3 Vigilante. This Navy aircraft is not widely known because of its short military service, but was very big, and very fast. The Navy found that it was very good as a photo recon jet. Runtime 7:13 minutes.
th Film; U-2 Dragon Lady. This incredible aircraft was designed by Kelly Johnson from the Lockheed "Skunk Works" dept. Modified from the F-104 Starfighter, this aircraft was a very high altitude plane but it was very hard to maintain control in the thin air. Thus, it was nicknamed the "Dragon Lady". Runtime 17:53 minutes
th Film; The SR-71 Blackbird. This aircraft was the brainchild of Kelly Johnson and was known as the "fastest aircraft in the world". A truly amazing feat!. Runtime 7:36 minutes.
