About the Tiger I
Entering German service in 1942, the Tiger I combined heavy armor with a powerful 88mm gun, and it fought on the Eastern Front, in North Africa and later in Western Europe until the end of the war. Its complex mechanical construction posed maintenance challenges for crews operating in extreme conditions.
