TBF-1C Avenger 1/48 Kit TBF-1 BuNo 00380, VT-8, June 1942

Entering service in 1942, the TBF Avenger was developed by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and first saw major action during the Battle of Midway. This 1/48 scale plastic kit replicates the TBF-1C variant, as flown in June, 1944, and features a rotating gun turret, rubber tires, metal aileron and flap shaft, hundreds of photo-etched pieces, an extremely detailed engine, and authentic markings. Assembly required, skill level 3. 15 ½" long.
