Troop trains of WW 2
Less significant than the battlefield, troop trains brought servicemen to the fighting and got them to the ships that took them there. The railroads basically won the war for us, and performed magnificently after languishing during the Depression. I recommend this DVD as an educational supplement to World War II history.
