Powered by a single turboshaft engine with two-blade main and tail rotors, the UH-1 Huey was built as a medical evacuation and utility helicopter for the U.S. Army. The UH-1 first saw combat during the Vietnam War with several roles including search and rescue, air assault, and ground attack. This 1/72 scale plastic model of the Huey features realistic panel lines, pad printed markings, spinning propellers, and extended landing gear. 8¾" long.
