About the 377th Medical Company and UH-60 Black Hawk
The 377th Medical Company flew UH-60 Black Hawks in the air-ambulance role from Camp Humphreys, South Korea, evacuating injured personnel to treatment facilities. Introduced by Sikorsky in 1979, the twin-engine UH-60 has served as the U.S. Army's primary utility and medical-evacuation helicopter for more than four decades, carrying troops, cargo and litter patients in operations worldwide.
