Stan Stokes. The Sunderland Flying Boat was one of the great assets in the war against German U-Boats in the Atlantic. Capable of great range and endurance, the Sunderland could also pack quite a wallop. Sometimes, as seen here, the Sunderland would catch U-Boats on the surface trying to finish off their prey while conserving torpedoes. This 16"x 11½" print is signed by the artist.
