About This Reissue
These Battle Transport Vehicles were originally produced around the 1970s by Strombecker Corporation and later sold under the Tootsietoy brand; this 2024 reissue uses the original tooling, so the vehicles remain compatible in size and scale with vintage Strombecker and Tootsietoy jeeps and trucks. They are modeled loosely on the Willys MD (M38A1) military jeep and a custom-style forward-control pickup truck.
