In May of 1993, Taiwan signed a contract for two E-2T Hawkeye, and they were delivered in 2004. In 2005, both aircraft flew to their home base at Pingtung's 439 Wing. This tactical Airborne Early Warning aircraft was used by the U.S. Navy, and it took its first flight in 1960.
This 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model replicates the E-2T Hawkeye with markings from the ROCAF as it was stationed at Pingtung AB in Taiwan.
