About the F-16 Fighting Falcon
Developed by General Dynamics and introduced in the late 1970s, the single-engine F-16 is known for its agility, fly-by-wire controls and bubble canopy visibility. Aggressor units fly specially painted F-16s to simulate adversary aircraft and tactics during air-combat training exercises.
