About F-22 10-4195
Lockheed Martin delivered F-22A 10-4195, the 195th and final Raptor built, to the U.S. Air Force on May 2, 2012, at a ceremony at its Marietta, Georgia plant. The aircraft later left Dobbins Air Reserve Base to report for duty at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
About the F-22 Raptor
Developed by Lockheed Martin as a fifth-generation, single-seat, twin-engine stealth fighter, the F-22 Raptor combines stealth shaping, thrust-vectoring nozzles and supercruise with two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines, carrying its weapons internally to preserve low observability. First operational in 2005, it remains in U.S. Air Force service though production ended with 10-4195 in 2012.
