In the 1960s, the Soviet military needed a replacement for the MiG-21 that could rival the U.S. Air Force, F-14 Tomcat. MiG-23ML Flogger was delivered to the Czech Air Force in November 1982. This aircraft performed in the annual CIAF (Czech International Air Fest) held at Hradec, Kralove in 1999.
