With more than 10,600 aircraft built in the 1930s and '40s, the Stearman Aircraft Company became a subsidiary of Boeing in 1934. Their Kaydet planes were a primary trainer and had different names for both the USAAF (PT-13 and PT-17) and USN (NS-1 and N2S). Noted for their bright yellow paint schemes, the Stearman aircraft were commonly called "Yellow Peril." This N2S-3 Kaydet is one of the 1,875 delivered to the Navy with the Bu. No. 39123/73. 8" wingspan.

This 1/48 scale, Hobby Master, die cast replica, as it appeared in the USN circa 1944, features authentic markings and hand-painted detail, a rotating propeller, a removable pilot figure, and a display stand.
