Precision 1:76 scale diecast vehicles built by Oxford Diecast cover everything from vintage American classics to British commercial and military vehicles, produced by the company recognized as the world's largest manufacturer at that scale. Alongside its core 1:76 range, the catalog spans 1:43, 1:87, and 1:72 aircraft, giving collectors detailed options across several standard model-railway and display scales.

About Oxford Diecast

Oxford Diecast was founded in 1993 by a group of former Corgi employees, including Lyndon Davies, with the company's first models rolling off the line in Swansea, Wales that September. The brand grew quickly, and today operates with subsidiary companies in China and North America alongside its UK base; Davies' daughter, Eloise Davies, has served as Managing Director since 2017.

What Makes Oxford Diecast Collectible

Oxford Diecast is recognized as the world's largest manufacturer of 1:76 scale models, a scale widely used in OO-gauge model railway layouts, which makes its vehicles a natural fit for collectors building out a diorama or layout rather than displaying cars individually. The company releases hundreds of new models a year across a wide range of eras and vehicle types — from mid-century American classics to British commercial vehicles, military transport, and aircraft — each produced with an eye toward faithful scale proportions and period-accurate liveries.

Popular Oxford Diecast Ranges

Oxford Diecast organizes its catalog into several dedicated ranges by vehicle type and scale:

Oxford Automobile/Cars: Classic passenger cars, including a dedicated range of American mid-century models in 1:87 scale.
Oxford Commercials: Vans, trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
Oxford Military: Military vehicles across multiple scales.
Oxford Aviation: 1:72 scale military and civilian aircraft.
